In July 2018 we made our 4th trip in Ethiopia with Memento Ethiopia Tours. This time we visited the tribes in the Omo Valley which we enjoyed very much. This time we spent 6 days travelling in the Omo Valley and it was very worthwhile to see the many different tribes, to visit the markets and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Like with our previous trips to the North (Lalibella, Gondar, Bahir Dar, Simien Mountains and Axum), to the South (Ziway, Arba Minch, Abijatta Shalla, Dorze and Konso) and several day tours in and close to Addis Ababa, Alex arranged everything very well. What we like from Memento Ethiopia Tours is that Alex can make a tailor made program according to your own budget wishes. If you like nature, he will include a lot of nature in your program. If you like culture: more cultural sites will be visited, if you like people: Alex will make sure you visit markets, local homes, traditional restaurants etc.If you want to have full program, or a relaxed program: Alex will discuss with you what is possible to arrange and you will have the final say in your program. Before and during your holiday Alex is taking care of all the bookings and practical arrangements. You only have to enjoy. During all our trips we experienced that the rented cars were of good quality, the drivers that Alex hired were friendly, capable and careful drivers, the hotels were meeting and sometimes even exceeding our expectations. We highly recommend Alex as a tour guide for your trips in Ethiopia. He is a caring, friendly and professional guide with a flexible attitude. We hope to travel with him again in future.

Alex organized a 28 day comprehensive tour of Ethiopia. He positioned us with great drivers and guides to make this trip excellent. Alex provided us with a phone to keep in touch and was do accommodating. Ethiopia has so much variety to offer a tourist and Alex listened to our needs and wishes. We lived our holiday. We highly recommend Memento Ethiopia Tours for your vacation in Ethiopia.

Excellent Holiday in a Fascinating Country

We have not long returned from a two week trip in Ethiopia, perfectly organized by Memento Ethiopia. The country has a long and fascinating history and Alex arranged a trip that allowed us to experience some of the wonderful sites, meet some interesting people, visit local markets and see some of the amazing scenery. Local guides and drivers along the way were all top quality. They were all very knowledgeable and friendly and, with guidance from Alex, were able to accommodate our specific needs. The accommodation was of a very high standard – better than we expected in fact. Gheralta Lodge, where we stayed for a couple of nights, was beautiful and we particularly enjoyed the climb to the Gheralta churches. It was a bit hair raising but the churches were lovely and the views were stunning. Alex also organized a few days in the Simien Mountains (more stunning views and steep climbs) with a great guide and an excellent cook. We would highly recommend Alex if you are looking for someone to help you with your travels in Ethiopia. He is friendly and thoughtful, and was available if we had any questions at any time. He kept in regular contact with us, as well as the guides and drivers, to make sure everything was going smoothly. All in all, an excellent holiday. Thank you Alex!

De même, de retour d’un circuit de 12jrs en Éthiopie (Nord et Addis-Abbeba), nous étions 2 amies et nous sommesenchantées ! Après nous être décidées 3 semaines avant sur la destination etchoisil’excellentecompagnie Ethiopian Airlines pour les vols depuis Paris et nos 4 vols intérieurs, nous avons fait plusieurs demandes à des guides. Alex (Memento Ethiopia Tour) nous a proposé le circuit le plus adapté pour visiter un maximum de sites et de villes, son professionnalisme et sa gentillesse, ainsi que ceux des guides et chauffeurs qui nous attendaient à chaqueétape nous ont assuré, un voyage hors norme ! Les étapes :BahirDar/Lac Tana – Gonder – Simien – Lalibella – Axum – Tigray – Danakil/Dallol – Addis Abbeba. N’hesitez pas si vous voulez plus de précisions, voyager en Éthiopie a été très facile avec cette organisation et nous avons pu profiter un maximum de tout.

J’avaiscontactéun grand nombre de tours operators français et locaux et j’aichoisi Memento Ethiopia Tour car Alex a su de suite tenir compte de notre budget, notre manière de voyager et nos attentes. Nous ne l avons pas regrettéuninstant.Nous avons fait une partie dans le nord et une parie dans le sud. Le programme était très diversifié, les 3 chauffeurs que nous avons eu très sérieux, prévenantsetsympathiques et le guide francophone qui nous a accompagné particulièrement cultivé, prévenant aussi, toujours très disponible et discret, un véritableambassadeur de son pays.
